[Tribute] Michael Jackson Is 3, Family Remember King Of Pop.

Today is a day for his three children, Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and ten-year-old “Blanket”, to remember their dad and for the world to remember a global pop icon,

The Pop King died aged 50 following an overdose administered to him by his personal doctor, Conrad Murray, who is now serving four years jail term.

The children’s lives have changed dramatically since their protective father’s death as they have emerged from his secretive world where he kept them hidden away. After years of home education Prince, together with sister Paris, started going to school in September 2010

Prince loves fashion and has revealed that although he does not share his father’s talents for singing or dancing, he wants to become a movie or TV actor. In November last year he appeared in his first commercial endorsement together with uncles Jackie, Marlon, Tito and Jermaine to promote J5 clothing, based on the styles of the Jackson 5. He said that the range would introduce his dad to a “new generation” and that it “is not casual, but it’s nice to wear to events”.

Paris who captured the world’s attention when she spoke for her brothers at the memorial service, saying: “Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine.”

Now the pretty youngster is keen to launch her own acting career. She’s starring in the fantasy movie London’s Bridge And The Three Keys, which looks likely to be released in 2014, and this year she has appeared twice on American TV with talkshow hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.

Paris confided to Oprah that she has been bullied both at school and online, revealing: “People try, but it doesn’t always work. At school, and some people try to cyber bully me.

Paris also told how she found it confusing as a child when her father had the three children wear masks in public in an effort to protect their identity. But she now understands why their dad wanted to attempt to give them a normal childhood, saying: “He told us that when he was younger he didn’t really have a childhood. He would always be in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that.” Paris’s striking looks have already attracted interest from the modelling world, with agency boss Michael Flutie who launched the careers of Cindy Crawford and Milla Jovovich ready to turn her into a catwalk star. He said: “I think she’s stunning, i said i would represent her because that’s how beautiful i think she is.”

Blanket was famously dangled off a balcony in Berlin by his eccentric father. He is still schooled at home in a £16,000 a month rented estate in the posh California neighbourhood of Calabasas. Neighbours in the gated community include Kim Kardashian and Britney Spears, and the home even comes with it’s own golf course.

Blanket whose real name is Prince Michael Jackson II to remember his dad’s legacy, and in January he attended a ceremony with his brother and sister to create a footprint outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in LA from one of Michael’s shoes. He also appeared on stage at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium last October alongside his siblings at a Jackson tribute concert, Michael Forever.

The three children were reportedly given £64,000 from ticket sales at the event a fraction of the £20million each will receive on reaching adulthood.

Blanket has also appeared in photoshoots with his siblings for US magazines and documentaries on the family.

There are even rumours that the trio are planning to star in their own reality TV series.

Jackson’s 82year old father Joe has fallen on hard times.

Estranged from wife Katherine, 81, and the rest of the family, the former millionaire was selling a “Jackson Tribute” perfume from a fragrance stand in LA’s Fashion Show shopping mall until last month.

Michelle Siegler, 37, a store manager in the mall, said: “He didn’t seem in a very good mood most of the time. If fans walked up to him and asked for a picture or an autograph he would tell them they had to buy the perfume first.” Joe, once the manager of the Jackson 5 group, opened the scent stand in January after losing his court battle to get a cut of the hundreds of millions of pounds being generated by his son’s estate since his death. Now the stand is no longer trading.

Joe’s friend Brian Oxman said: “Michael would be heartbroken if he could see what has happened to his father.”
